The Effects of Functional Electrical Stimulation in Rehabilitation for Acute Stroke Unilateral Neglect

Abstract
Objectives : This study is investigated of the effect of functional electrical stimulation on unilateral neglect in patients with stroke. Methods : 15 patients who understand the purpose of this study of patients admitted under a diagnosis of stroke from a specialist from April 2016 to October 2016. The intervention is conducted for one day 50 minutes five times a week, three weeks to reevaluate after three weeks intervention. Results : The Albert`s test was decreased 15.60¡¾2.14 to 9.70¡¾1.29 CBS was decreased 21.30¡¾4.76 to 15.60¡¾4.04. There were significant differences. Conclusion : Although the result of this study is insufficient for drawing a definitive conclusion the result will have a positive effect in the future Unilateral Neglect intervention.
